Ottawa, ON, – 2019-01-18 – Spoonity, a leading platform in customer advocacy management, concludes 2018 by publishing its semi-annual report.

Spoonity experienced tremendous growth in 2018. The company surpassed targets, expanded its geographic reach, and developed new tools to better support merchant needs. Over the last year, Spoonity quadrupled its members from 2 million in 2017 to over 8 million by the end of 2018. To this effect, the company now processes over 55,000 transactions each day and over $70 million annually in gift cards.

Over the past year, Spoonity also experienced strong international growth, with its most recent expansion into Australia. Thanks to strategic partners, Spoonity is proud to support merchants in eight countries across three continents and offer services in English, French, Spanish and Arabic. New integrations with Mobi2Go, PixelPoint, Popdeem, SpeedETab and investments in software development tools/kits (also known as SDKs) will help see further growth in the coming years.

These expansions have enabled Spoonity to build more tools for merchants to strengthen their loyalty programs and improve customer feedback mechanisms to ultimately drive business prosperity and sustainability. In the coming year, we look forward to expanding new features for eGifts, marketing, and management tools for merchants to get the most out of their loyalty platform.
